About Sathyam Institute of Yoga

Sathyam Institute of Yoga was established by seven philanthropists with the aim of raising awareness and fostering a deeper understanding of yoga and practices rooted in Hatha yoga. The institute is committed to inspiring students to contribute to and participate in the enhancement of the community's social well-being, regardless of their social status, caste, or religion.

Sathyam Institute of Yoga offers flexibility concerning age, entry qualifications, fee structure, and the duration of training. Students receive certificates upon the successful completion of practical assessments and examinations.

In 2020, Sathyam Institute of Yoga received approval as a Yoga and Naturopathy School from Bharath Sevak Samaj (BSS) and the National Development Agency, which is unanimously recognized by the Indian Parliament.

Our motto is to care, share, and empower individuals with the knowledge of yoga for a healthier lifestyle.

Ms. Anitha is an inspiring, knowledgeable, passionate, determined, and relentless yoga instructor. She began her journey under the guidance of Dr. V.R. Arivazhagan, Director of Yoga and Naturopathy, which culminated in her graduating with first-class honors and earning a Diploma in Yoga from the Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University in 2009. Since then, she has actively participated in various workshops, gaining valuable insights into the field of Yoga therapy.

She further pursued her M.D. in Yoga from Bharath Sevak Samaj, National Development Agency, as encouraged by the Government of India, achieving distinction under the mentorship of Mr. Rajagopal, former Tasildhar of Udumalpet, and a master from the Integral Yoga Institutes of Satchidananda Ashrams.

Ms. Anitha has greatly benefited from the invaluable guidance of various individuals and mentors, including Mr. Palanisamy, a senior Yoga practitioner; Dr. Doraikannan, former Joint Director of CMC and member of IMA; and Dr. V. Balakrishnan of Ozone Yoga.

Ms. Anitha is a warm and genuine individual for whom teaching yoga has been one of the most fulfilling and joyful experiences of her life. The dedication with which her students from diverse backgrounds approach her not only brings her joy but also reinforces her commitment to the practice.
